Our client, a prominent retailer, is seeking an experienced leader to join their team as Director, Compliance & Privacy to drive their privacy, AI governance, and data use programs across Canada. This strategic role will partner with senior business leaders to ensure responsible data use, regulatory compliance, and ethical innovation while supporting business growth and protecting stakeholder trust.

The ideal candidate will have:
✔ 8+ years' experience in privacy, compliance, and/or data governance matters
✔ Experience leading governance or compliance programs within global organizations
✔ Knowledge of AI governance, emerging technology risk, and responsible AI practices
✔ Experience advising on privacy impact assessments and risk assessments
✔ Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
